Amit Bhuta

What area(s) do you service?

Miami-Dade County.

How did you get into real estate and what do you love about it?

I got into real estate after working 11 years in car business. I figured cars are typically a person's second biggest purchase. So I figured selling a person's biggest purchase made sense. I LOVE the marketing and content creation aspect of real estate. Story telling and creating a story that someone is interested in that ISN'T necessarily purchasing a home is what excites me.

What made you want to live in your current area?

I've lived in Miami since I was four. There are so many things to love about living here - weather, international feel, the "cool" factor, taxes, sports, and so much more!

What makes living in your area so special?

There are so many things to love about living here - weather, international feel, the "cool" factor, taxes, sports, and so much more!

A workday spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?

I LOVE to eat! So going to one of the many places to get dessert or a meal could always be first and last.

Best restaurant/bar? Favorite spot for coffee?

I love eating at Ruson. Between the Japanese, Thai, and Hibachi, there are so many different choices to eat way more than I should. I have drank a cup of coffee in my life. But I think they sell coffee at Haagen-Dazs, so I would probably go there and get a Dulce de Leche milkshake instead of the coffee.

A day in the life: how are you spending a day off in your neighborhood/area?

Probably would go to the gym at LA Fitness, get lunch at Ruson, go to Haagen-Dazs for a milkshake, play tennis a little later, watch a movie at home with my wife on Netflix, and create some content for our team. Even though it's my day off, I love creating content so much that I would enjoy doing it on my day off.

What's your favorite hidden gem?

Carvel for their vanilla shakes.

What is your favorite piece of your area's culture?

I love the walkability of Pinecrest, the neighborhood in Miami that I live in. It's cool to see people walking around the neighborhood and being friendly to each other, like in the super old Leave it to Beaver days on tv.

Tell us a fun fact about you!

I can eat A LOT more than 90% of the people.
