Cozy, shabby-chic

If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would it be?
Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer

How would you describe your neighborhood?
Laid-back, young, and friendly, with lots of delicious restaurants and bars.

If you could use your house as the setting for a remake of a movie, which movie would it be?
Notting Hill - a bookish Englishman meets a glamorous American - so appropriate!

What was your non-negotiable when it came to finding your dream home?
An open floor plan and lots of kids for our new daughter to play with!

What's your favorite room? Why?
The living room - it's where we spend the most time as a family: reading, watching TV, and just catching up with each other.

What is one thing you need in your home to make it yours?
Pictures - nothing makes a house a home like having memories surround you.

What makes you (or your family) laugh?
Watching our cats - they're continually doing ridiculous and funny things!

If you could throw a theme party in your house, what would be the theme?
A British vs. American theme - centered around the most popular food of the countries.

A day spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?

Brunch at Ants Pants to start the day, ending at Grace Tavern for a burger and their blackened green beans!

How has your home changed from move-in day?
The biggest change is the guest bedroom is now a nursery!

What's your favorite memory of your home?
Picking just one is so hard... finding out we were going to have a baby probably tops the list though.

What was the catalyst to you purchasing a new home?
Rob got a job out in Pottstown. When he accepted the offer we knew we'd have to move closer as the commute from Philadelphia is a beast.

What's your favorite piece of Philly culture?
What a walking city Philadelphia is. Being in such a walkable city is amazing, and allows you to experience all the bars, restaurants in such a personal way.
