Lindsay Kessler: Lindsay Kessler Real Estate Group

What area(s) do you service?

Metro Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs

How did you get into real estate and what do you love about it?

I got into real estate after 10 years in the digital media and advertising business. After years of wanting to try my hand at Real Estate, I decided to quit my job in 2010 and I've never looked back! I love building relationships with interesting people from all around the world, becoming their friend and trusted advisor, and getting to be a part of their life's journeys. I am also thrilled by the challenge of finding that perfect spot that my clients can call home.

What made you want to live in your current area?

The schools, the activities for my kids, the strong sense of community... and of course, my husband, Laurence (he grew up here)!

What makes living in your area so special?

I love living in the South, and specifically in my area - East Cobb - because of the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and my neighbors and clients take tremendous pride in our community.

A workday spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?

First Stop: Starbucks. Last stop: showing homes to buyers once their work days have ended.

Best restaurant/bar? Favorite spot for coffee?

Hal's on Old Ivy for the best steaks and martinis. Crazy Love coffee house in Roswell for coffee.

A day in the life: how are you spending a day off in your neighborhood/area?

A day off is spent with my family - watching my kids play soccer or basketball, running errands, and ending with a movie night.

What's your favorite hidden gem?

The Chattahoochee River - there you can find miles of nature trails, rowing, tubing, a riverwalk, parks and playgrounds.

What is your favorite piece of your area's culture?

The Beltline in Atlanta is one of our city's most iconic features, having transformed unused railroad lines into a 33 mile stretch of walking and biking paths, parks, shopping, and chic restaurants and bars. It connects all parts of the city with events and incredible art by local artists.

Tell us a fun fact about you!

As a child, I loved performing arts. I starred in many school productions and sang the National Anthem at all of my high school's football games. I don't perform any more, but I do love a good Karaoke night.
