A home is built to hold your memories. From the gatherings in the kitchen, to the game day viewing party (Go birds!), to the first night with their new baby, to the adventures of Charlie and Petunia - Francesca and Ryan made this house a home. Although they are moving to be in closer proximity to their family, this house has taken them through a lot of firsts. It’s been a huge part of their lives and their family. With all those memories stored, they want the next owners to see just how much this place has to offer and love it with every ounce that they did. Here’s the story of 1204 Synder Ave - the home of Ryan, Francesca and Addison.

Average White Band - Pick Up The Pieces

How would you describe your neighborhood?
Eclectic, delicious and easily accessible.

If you could use your house as the setting for a remake of a movie, which movie would it be?

Instead of a movie, let’s do the TV show Dispatches from Elsewhere, minus the weird ending.

What was your non-negotiable when it came to finding your dream home?
Central air, outside space and walking distance to East Passyunk Avenue.

What's your favorite room? Why?
Our favorite room is the kitchen because we spend most of our time in here cooking, eating, baking, drinking and celebrating with family and friends.

What is one thing you need in your home to make it yours?
Archimedes, our owl statue.

What makes you (or your family) laugh?
Petunia, our tiny little chihuahua who is always up to something weird.

1920's Speakeasy

A day spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?

How has your home changed from move-in day?
We really didn't change much because it was so perfect to begin with! We just added a bit of our style here and there.

What's your favorite memory of your home?
Our favorite memory was the Eagles Super Bowl parade. Our house was full of family and friends ready to celebrate the big day. Everything was green from our outfits to our bagels and we were just steps away from Broad Street to see it all happen.

What was the catalyst to you purchasing a new home?
We have a new daughter and we want her to grow up closer to her family and cousins.

What's your favorite piece of Philly culture?
South Philly Star Doors
